The Delivery Process
Who We Use For Deliveries
For parcel deliveries, we use UK Mail and you will be provided with a tracking number. Parcels are sent on a next-day service and you will receive your battery next day if ordered by 1 pm, however, this can be longer for post-codes not on Mainland UK including, IOM, IOW & Outer Scottish Isles.
Any batteries that are sent on pallets are done so with Freightroute, part of The Palletforce Network. Delivery, however, can be longer for post-codes not on Mainland UK including, IOM, IOW & Outer Scottish Isles. If you would like to order a high quantity of batteries, then please get in touch via email and we will arrange the delivery for you and select a delivery date.
Our delivery cost is £6.50 for all batteries which weight under 30kg. This cover many of the batteries on the website
Batteries which weigh more than 30kg can be purchased and delivery but via a pallet or collection. Simply send us an email with the batteries you require and your postcode and we can calculate the delivery for you.
For phone accessories and non-batteries items, the delivery cost is £2.80.
For all other products, we use Hermes economy delivery 2-3 working days. Your items will be posted out the same day if ordered by 1 pm Monday to Friday.
There are a number of restrictions in place when sending batteries. All sealed batteries can be sent by parcel, up to 30KG and dependant on physical size. Wet batteries must be sent by pallet.
Battery acid (Sulphuric acid) can’t be sold separately or sold as a loose item, all batteries must come containing the acid and sealed suitably for transport.
“From 1 July 2018, members of the public who want to acquire or import sulfuric acid above 15% weight by weight will also require an explosives precursors and poisons (EPP) licence.” www.gov.uk
