There are two types of electric vehicle batteries, AGM and GEL. Both are suitable for an electric scooter such as Pride or Shoprider, it just depends on what your needs are. An AGM works best for an occasional user, you may use your mobility scooter to visit the shops once or twice a week or use your wheelchair for comfort or assistance rather than a reliant everyday use. An AGM gets up to working capacity quickly and has a long cycle life. The bigger the battery, the more power and run time you will have. If you have a larger or high-powered scooter with lights and a faster speed setting or a carry heavy shopping bags then you will need a bigger battery or an EX increased capacity battery. All Haze electric vehicle batteries must be charged after use and left to fully charge. Leaving a battery flat will result in loss of capacity.
